Specialty and Customized

Transporter
Broward Tags can help you obtain a transporter license plate to any individual who that conduct of his or her business transporting motor vehicles that are not currently registered to any owner and which do not have license plates.
You must have proof of liability insurance coverage in the amount of $100,000 or more. Transporter license plates is valid for use on any motor vehicle in the possession of the transporter while the motor vehicle is being transported during the transporter’s business.
Transporter plates are valid for a period of 12 months, beginning January 1 and ending December 31.
Wrecker
Broward Tags can get your wrecker license plate if you have any motor vehicle that is used to tow, carry, or transport motor vehicles. It must be equipped for that purpose with a boom, winch, carrier, or other similar equipment to obtain the wrecker license plate.
The combined gross vehicle weight of the wrecker and any towed vehicle or vehicles is 55,000 pounds or more, at the time of registration or renewal, every individual person in charge of such wrecker shall present proof of filing or proof the federal heavy vehicle use tax.
Antique & Historical
Broward Tags could get you an antique or historical plate if your vehicle were made after 1945 and has an engine that’s at least 30 years old.
Custom Vehicle Plates for car made after 1948 with a frame made from non-original materials and is at least 25 years old.
Horseless Carriage Plates that are no more than 5,000lbs and was built no later than 1945
Street Rod plates are for vehicle that has been altered from their original material and was built before 1949.
Military
Broward Tags honors our veterans and we can help you get your honorable license plates. You must be a current or former United States military personnel who, as part of their military duty, have been trained to jump from flying aircraft(paratroopers), or a retired veteran.
Members of National Guard and active United States Armed Forces reservists; former prisoners of war; survivors of Pearl Harbor; Purple Heart medal recipients; Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom Veterans; or any special plate for military personnel, we got you!
Fleet
Broward Tags help you establish fleet license plates that are for owned or leased non-apportioned motor vehicles by a company using for business purposes. All vehicles with a fleet license plate will have the company’s name or logo and their unit number displayed.
Every individual with any fleet license plates are authorized to provide an annual vehicle reconciliation and must annually surrender all unassigned license plates.
Dealer and Manufacturer
Broward Tags assist any licensed dealer, secure one or more dealer license plates that are valid for use on motor vehicles or mobile homes owned by the dealer. The dealer plates are assigned while the motor vehicles are in inventory and for sale or being operated with such dealer’s business.
Dealer license plates cannot be used on any tow truck or wrecker unless the tow truck or wrecker is for sale. The dealer license plates may not be used on a vehicle used to transport another motor vehicle for the motor vehicle dealer.
